Since 2007, the German Young Geomorphologists organize annual workshops in order to support networking amongst early career geomorphology enthusiasts. The meetings provide a platform for open discussions on a wide range of problems that might have emerged within a particular research project.

The meeting will provide an ideal opportunity to present your current work, discuss problems and receive constructive feedback! We want to highlight our interest in solving problems that occur during the empirical or writing period of your research.

Preliminary selection of events:
–   Your B.Sc/M.Sc and PhD studies: oral or poster presentation and extensive discussions
–   Field trip to geomorphological highlights of the surrounding area
–   Keynote lectures by Prof. Dr. Julia Meister (University of Würzburg) and Prof. Dr. Margot Böse (FU Berlin)

Furthermore, we would like to promote our new session on „scientific failures“ to emphasize the shady side of science and learn from each others experiences.
Feel free to share your scientific mishaps within the scope of 10-minute presentations.
Submit to this session by marking the checkbox in the pdf form, title, and subject can be handed in on short notice before the meeting.

The meeting fee (without excursion) will be 50 € for full board.
